Butch Voices is excited to host its first Conference at the Marriott City Center in fabulous and centrally located Historic Downtown Oakland, California. The location lends itself to community-building and networking, as it offers accessible and affordable public transportation to a variety of nearby restaurants, museums and attractions in nearby Chinatown and Jack London Square.

For those wanting to explore more of the Bay Area, the conference hotel is located just 4 miles from Downtown Berkeley, 8 miles from San Francisco. The Mission District, Union Square shopping area, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the historic Castro District are easily accessible via BART, SF Muni and AC Transit lines. For your convenience, there is a station BART station located just across the street from the hotel.

The Marriott City Center houses a variety of amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, valet parking, fitness center, on-site Hertz rental car, gift shop, room service, and two hotel restaurants.

Ground Transportation

For visitors attending from out of town, you can reach the Marriot City Center from both San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) by BART. [If you are traveling with heavy luggage, SFO may be easier on your travel, because the BART platform is part of the airport. If traveling through OAK, you will need to catch a chuttle to BART.]

The hotel is located across the street from the 12th Street - Oakland City Center station.
