*How You Can Help
We are seeking donation items for auction prizes, as well as individuals or groups who are available to participate in our date auction. Candidates interested in being auctioned off should contact Joe@BUTCHVoices.com, and should include information on themselves, and the date they are proposing for the lucky winner. Dates in the past have included business luncheons, picnics, specific date nights at events – the more creative the better! Does your group or organization want to create a unique and FUN experience – let’s do it! You do not have to identify as butch to be auctioned off. And it’s all for a good cause, to support the work of BUTCH Voices.
Level entry way with no steps. ADA accessible restroom is located backstage on the first floor, and will be available for use before the show, during intermission, and after the show. Additional non ADA accessible gender neutral restrooms are available on the second floor of the building (no elevator). ASL interpretation available by request. Please let us know if you will need ASL interpretation by May 5, 2017.
*Fragrance free request:
Please join us in ensuring accessibility for beloved community members with chemical sensitivity and chronic illness by not bringing fragrances or scents on your clothes, hair, or skin from colognes and perfumes, scented laundry detergent, hair and body products, natural products, and essential oils. You can prepare in advance by not using products with fragrance, or by using fragrance free, non-toxic products.
*Information for scent sensitive people:
The Siren Theater is not a scent free space. Scented cleaning products are used in all areas, including hand soap in the bathroom. Additionally, cigarette smoke from the smoking area outside of the theater can drift into the performance space inside, and many patrons are not scent free. Please protect yourself accordingly.
*Public transition information:
The Blue and Red lines nearest Max stop is located at NW 1st and NW Davis, approximately two blocks away from the theater. The nearest Yellow or Orange line Max stop is located at NW 5th and NW Couch. #4 and #9 Bus Stops located at NW 5th and Davis. #12, #21, and #93 all drop off at W Burnside and the Burnside Bridge.
Street parking is available near the venue. Downtown parking meters operate from 1 pm to 7 pm on Sundays, unless otherwise posted. The current rate for on-street parking in the Downtown district is $2.00 per hour. The nearest SmartPark garage is located at NW 1st and NW Davis where Sunday parking is $5 for the evening.
