Blac Gurlz Ink
Blac Gurlz Ink is a unique source for quality lesbian greeting cards. Our greeting cards are unique because we use images of “real” lesbians vs. professional models in our design concepts, which gives our products a very authentic feel and provides a more accurate representation of the diversity of the lesbian community.
RIGGED OUT/FITTERS
Rigged Out/fitters is a queer, indie fashion label created by San Francisco-based designer/performance artist Parisa Parnian. A collection of both recycled vintage and graphic-driven apparel, RIGGED brings sexy humor and rock’n'roll style and presents it in a selection of clothing created expressly for butch, genderqueer, trans, and queer folk who are OUTLAWS WITH STYLE. RIGGED is sold exclusively online at www.riggedout.com and at select events such at the Butch Voices Conference.
Center Women Present is a queer women’s initiative started at the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, serving all self-identified women, including lesbians, queer, bisexual, and transgender community members. The program intends to address women’s community issues through volunteer-led projects and is shaped primarily by input of community members, with assistance of The Center’s staff.
Modern Times Books
Modern Times Books, located at 888 Valencia Street in San Francisco, is a progressive resource for the Bay Area and a neighborhood bookstore for the Mission. Collectively operated since 1971, we are a vibrant progressive and literary bookstore offering wide-ranging literature on globalization, politics and media, as well as an array of graphic novels, fiction, and criticism. We are proud to offer some of the best queer/trans and feminist sections of any bookstore in the Bay Area, and feature one of the Bay Area’s most extensive collections of writings on Latina/o history and culture, including a full selection of Spanish language books. And did we mention our children’s books? Modern Times also fosters a vital literary community with an exciting calendar of events, a blog, and community resources. We are a surviving, thriving indie bookstore in the face of chain stores and Amazon, a fiercely queer and radical community hotspot, and a place where independent literature is in bloom. We’re proud to be Butch Voices official bookseller. We look forward to attendees checking out conference presenters’ books and browsing a fine selection of books andmagazines by and about butch lives, butch/femme cultures, identities and sexualities, queer and trans liberation, erotica and more!

Zuna Institute
Zuna Institute is a not for profit national advocacy organization for Black Lesbians. Its focus is the economic development, education, public policy support, and improved health of its constituents. Through community organizing, training, and networking Zuna institute will focus on eliminating barriers that black lesbian’s face within the black community based on sexual orientation and in the LGBT community based on race. Zuna Institute will also host a bi-annual national conference where black lesbians come together to address the issues of our communities and organizations.
Moyo Entertainment
Moyo is the Swahili word for heart. We have adopted this name as an indication of our commitment to providing work that is always authentic and heartfelt. At Moyo Entertainment we strive to create and develop projects/independent productions that both nurture the heart and sould as well that entertains.
