Let Your Voice Be Heard!

The conference is called BUTCH Voices but it is NOT an exclusive space. While we are coming together to take a closer look at the shared experiences of Butches, Studs, AGs, Doms, Tombois, and other transmasculine identities, this space is enriched by the presence of our Allies as well. We aspire to have a gathering of people representing a spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations in attendance – both masculine identified and otherwise.

We’re excited that you will join us for the 2009 BUTCH Voices Conference. We’ve got an amazing line up of presentations during the day, including words from Jeanne Cordova, S. Bear Bergman and Malkia “MAC” Cyril, our three amazing keynotes. And we’ve got a variety of actvities to keep you occupied in the evenings as well. We hope that you all enjoy the impactful program that we’ve put together for you.

Evening Schedule Overview

Thursday we’ll start it off with our “Meet & Greet” and Artists’ Reception at 6PM at the Marriot’s AJ Topper’s Lounge. We’ll end the night with an afterparty at The Den

Friday evening we have our networking dinners, the Butch Boi play party and a night of film screenings that will conclude in a Q&A discussion with filmmaker Cheryl Dunye (BFUU Event Hall).

Saturday night is our showcase of BUTCH Voices performers from far and wide. “BUTCH Nation” takes the stage 7PM (Humanist Hall).

And Sunday, if you’re not scheduled to leave right after the conference, we invite you to venture over to the Vibe Lounge with us for a Karaoke wind down.

We know that your time and your money are precious. So for those of you who can’t be here for the entire four days, we now have a 1 or 2-day registration option for conference.

Event Tickets

You may also purchase individual tickets to our evening events for the days when you will not be attending the conference (all day passes include entrance to evening, events except for the Butch-Boi play party, as this has a separate admission cost from your registration). Purchase your tickets today or feel free to purchase them at the door, provided supplies last.
