Kick off the epic 2013 National BUTCH Voices conference with:
- A welcome by Oakland City Council President Pro Term Rebecca D. Kaplan
- An artist reception to mix + mingle with the artists showcasing their work at the conference. See artist bios here.
- Meet and greet other conference attendees, the performers and artists and workshop presenters at the conference, and the sexy beautiful handsome BUTCH Voices volunteers who have been working their cute butts off to get this weekend of debauchery and transformation and conversations and communities delivered right to you!
- An incredible showcase of SF Bay Area based queer performing artists allied to Butch & MOC communities featuring Storytelling, Bellydancing, Drag, Burlesque and Cabaret with: Jezebel Delilah X, Manish Vaidya, Heaven Mousalem, CHUBB, Dominika Bednarska, Lola Dean, Miss Amazing Grace & Kentucky Fried Woman. - 9pm – Twerk! Club 21’s weekly hip hop/top 40 dance party for women & trans folks
